Ingredients
The following ingredients have 6 Servings
- 2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 2 tsp cane sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 ripe banana
- 2 tbsp coconut oil
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 cups almond milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
Instruction
- Combine dry ingredients (flour, sugar, baking powder & soda, salt) into a large bowl and set aside.
- In a microwave safe dish, melt coconut oil; set aside.
- Mash banana in the bottom of a large bowl (I used a fork to do this), then add the water, milk and vanilla; stir to combine.
- Stir in the coconut oil and peanut butter with the wet ingredients, then combine the wet and dry ingredients.
- Preheat your waffle maker and spray it with nonstick spray if necessary.
- Once waffle maker is hot, scoop a heaping 1/2 cup of batter into the waffle maker and cook until the "ready" light comes on. Use a spatula or tongs to remove waffle from waffle maker. Repeat this process until the batter is gone.
