Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 10 ounces regular sized marshmallows
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 5 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 1 cup mini marshmallows
- 1 cup Reese's peanut butter morsels
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon peanut butter
- 1 cup Reese's Mini Peanut Butter Cups ((optional))
- 1 cup Reese's Pieces ((optional))
Instruction
- Line a 9x9" or 12x8" baking dish with parchment paper (or spray very well with cooking spray). Set aside until ready to use. In a large pot, melt butter over low to medium low heat. Add marshmallows and turn heat to low. Stir constantly until marshmallows are just melted and completely smooth.
- Remove from heat and quickly stir in peanut butter.
- Add Rice Krispies.
- Fold in the mini marshmallows (you can also stir in a few handfuls of the Reese's pieces and peanut butter cups if desired to incorporate the candies into the bars).
- Pour mixture into prepared baking dish. DO NOT PRESS them in tightly. Just very gently even the top of the treats (use the butter wrapper to press it in).
- In a microwave safe bowl, add the peanut butter chips, chocolate chips, and 1 tablespoon peanut butter.Microwave at 50% power for 45 seconds at a time, stirring each time, until melted and chocolate is shiny.
- Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the top of the Rice Krispie treats and smooth with a rubber spatula. Top with peanut butter cups and Reese's Pieces.
- Allow to set, about one hour. Cut into squares and store in an airtight container.
