Ingredients

The following ingredients have 5 Servings
  • 3.25 cups rolled oats
  • ½ cup peanut butter (creamy)
  • ½ cup honey
  • 3 tablespoons coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • ⅓ cup chocolate chips
  • ⅓ cup shredded coconut (sweetened)

Instruction

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat. Set aside.
  • Preheat oven to 325 F degrees.
  • In a bowl whisk together rolled oats and cinnamon powder. Set aside.
  • In a pan combine together peanut butter, honey, vanilla and coconut oil.
  • Put this pan on medium heat stirring continuously till it all forms a smooth mixture.
  • Pour this mixture over the oats and mix till all oats are moistened.
  • Spread the oats on to the baking sheet in a single layer.
  • Bake at 325 F degrees for around 30 minutes, stirring the oats after every 10 minutes.
  • After 30 minutes take the granola out of then oven and allow it to cool for an hour.
  • Add the chocolate chips and shredded coconut and give a final mix.
  • Store the granola in an airtight container.
