Ingredients
The following ingredients have 5 Servings
- 3.25 cups rolled oats
- ½ cup peanut butter (creamy)
- ½ cup honey
- 3 tablespoons coconut oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon powder
- ⅓ cup chocolate chips
- ⅓ cup shredded coconut (sweetened)
Instruction
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat. Set aside.
- Preheat oven to 325 F degrees.
- In a bowl whisk together rolled oats and cinnamon powder. Set aside.
- In a pan combine together peanut butter, honey, vanilla and coconut oil.
- Put this pan on medium heat stirring continuously till it all forms a smooth mixture.
- Pour this mixture over the oats and mix till all oats are moistened.
- Spread the oats on to the baking sheet in a single layer.
- Bake at 325 F degrees for around 30 minutes, stirring the oats after every 10 minutes.
- After 30 minutes take the granola out of then oven and allow it to cool for an hour.
- Add the chocolate chips and shredded coconut and give a final mix.
- Store the granola in an airtight container.
