Ingredients
The following ingredients have 9 Servings
- 1 stick unsalted butter (1/2 cup)
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 2 cups graham crackers, broken/crushed into smaller pieces (1 pack or 9 grahams )
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 cups chocolate chips
- 2 tsp vegetable oil or coconut oil (to help melt the chips)
Instruction
- Spray or line a 9x13 inch pan with parchment paper or foil.
- Use your fingers to break or crush the graham crackers into smaller pieces.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter and peanut butter together, stirring occasionally until smooth. Remove from the heat and set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine the crushed graham crackers, powdered sugar, and peanut butter mixture, mix with a spatula to combine.
- Spread the peanut butter graham cracker mixture evenly into the pan and use your hands or the back of a glass cup to firmly pack the mixture into the pan.
- In a small pot over medium low heat on the stove, combine the chocolate chips and oil, stir occasionally until the chocolate is melted and smooth, may take 3-6 minutes.
- Pour the chocolate over the peanut butter bars.
- Cover the pan and refrigerate for 30 minutes or until the chocolate is set.
- Remove the bars from the pan using the foil, cut into squares with a sharp knife. Store in an airtight container.
