  • 5 cups cauliflower florets (1-inch pieces)
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil (divided)
  • 8 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt (plus more for seasoning)
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper (plus more for seasoning)
  • ½ cup whole milk (or nondairy milk)
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese (freshly grated)
  • 1 pound chicken breast (pounded to ½-inch thickness)
  • paprika (to season chicken)
  • 8 ounces medium shell pasta (about 2 ½ cups)
  • 3 cups broccoli florets (cut into very small pieces)
