The following ingredients have 2 Servings

  • 3/4 cups sugar

  • 1 pinch salt
  • 3/4 cup butter ((1 1/2 sticks - unsalted, cubed and chilled))
  • 2 large egg yolks
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 orange zested ((reserve the juice for the quince filling))
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 14 oz quince paste ((cubed))
  • 3 Tbsp orange juice ((reserved from zesting))
  • 10 oz Dulce de Leche ((1/2 cup or about 3/4ths of a 13.4 oz can))
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 Tbsp water
  • 1 Tbsp apricot preserves
  • powdered sugar or shredded coconut ((optional garnish))
