Ingredients

The following ingredients have 5 Servings
  • 2 lb ground turkey
  • 2/3 cup (~ 2 oz) grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2/3 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 2 tsp dried Italian herbs
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 black pepper
  • 2/3 cup ketchup - for basting & dippin'

Instruction

  • Preheat oven to 375F and line a sheet pan with aluminum foil.
  • Mix all ingredients together in a bowl.  Form a loaf on the baking sheet.  It's gonna be sticky - try to make a smooth surface and sides.  Try not to taper the ends, make it more rectangular box like to cook more even.
  • Bake for 20 minutes.  Slather with ketchup and bake for another 30 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165F and turkey is done.
  • If your crust is not bubbling and starting to caramelize, turn the broiler on low for 2-3 minutes (watching carefully) or until it's bubbling.
  • Serve with Mashed Carrots. Happy Eating!  Beckie
