Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 8 ounces penne pasta
  • 8 ounces broccoli florettes (, 4 cups)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 6 Tbs. butter (, at room temperature)
  • 2 Tbs. lemon juice
  • 1 Tbs. lemon zest
  • 1/4 tsp. kosher salt
  • 1/4 tsp. cracked black pepper

Instruction

  • Cook penne according to package directions, adding broccoli during last 3 minutes of cooking time. Drain, reserving 3/4 cup pasta water.
  • Toss hot pasta and broccoli with Parmesan, butter, lemon juice, lemon zest, kosher salt, cracked black pepper and reserved pasta water.
