Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 4 Chicken Legs
  • 1 Onion
  • 3 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 2 tbsp Hungarian Sweet Smoked Paprika
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Salt

Instruction

  • In a bowl, mix together the olive oil, smoked paprika (you can lower or raise the amount depending on how strong you want it. I like it to punch me in the mouth on the first bite so I keep it pretty strong, but feel free to cut it in half if you want), garlic powder, and salt. Add the Chicken Legs and toss to coat all the surface. You can use your hands to really get in all the nooks and crannies, just make sure to wash well after.
  • Slice up the onion to create a bed for the chicken. You can use a braising dish, or a disposable aluminium container. Add the chicken legs and pour the rest of the sauce over the top. Cover with foil.
  • Place in an oven pre-heated to 220°C, or 425°F and allow to cook for 40 minutes. Remove the foil and cook for 5 more minutes if you want to brown the chicken a bit more (or you have massive chicken legs for some reason).
