Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 200 grams paneer (cubed)
- 1 onion (finely chopped)
- 1 big tomato (finely chopped)
- 3 tablespoons curd (well beaten)
- Salt
- 2 tablespoons butter
- cilantro leaves
- Whole spices
- 1 bay leaf
- 2 cloves
- 2 cardamoms
- For cashew paste
- 15 whole cashews
- 1 onion
- 2 teaspoon poppy seeds
- 2 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 2 green chilies
- 2-3 garlic cloves
- 1 small piece ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper corns
Instruction
- Take 1 roughly chopped onion, 15 cashews, 3 garlic cloves, 1 piece ginger, 3 green chilies, 2 teaspoon cumin seeds, 2 teaspoons poppy seeds/ kasakasa in a mixer jar. Add required water and grind to a fine paste.
- Heat 2 teaspoons butter or ghee in a pan. Add 1 bay leaf, 2 cloves, 2 cardamom and saute well. Add finely chopped onions and saute till they turn pink
- Add chopped tomatoes and saute well for 5-7 minutes.
- Add the ground masala and mix well. Cook in medium flame for 3-4 minutes.
- Add 1 cup water and season with salt.
- Add well beaten curd and mix well. Simmer for 5-7 minutes.
- Add paneer cubes and mix gently. Simmer for 3 more minutes. Garnish with cilantro leaves and serve paneer korma hot.
