Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 200 grams paneer (cubed)
  • 1 onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 big tomato (finely chopped)
  • 3 tablespoons curd (well beaten)
  • Salt
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • cilantro leaves
  • Whole spices
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 2 cloves
  • 2 cardamoms
  • For cashew paste
  • 15 whole cashews
  • 1 onion
  • 2 teaspoon poppy seeds
  • 2 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 2 green chilies
  • 2-3 garlic cloves
  • 1 small piece ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper corns

Instruction

  • Take 1 roughly chopped onion, 15 cashews, 3 garlic cloves, 1 piece ginger, 3 green chilies, 2 teaspoon cumin seeds, 2 teaspoons poppy seeds/ kasakasa in a mixer jar. Add required water and grind to a fine paste.
  • Heat 2 teaspoons butter or ghee in a pan. Add 1 bay leaf, 2 cloves, 2 cardamom and saute well. Add finely chopped onions and saute till they turn pink
  • Add chopped tomatoes and saute well for 5-7 minutes.
  • Add the ground masala and mix well. Cook in medium flame for 3-4 minutes.
  • Add 1 cup water and season with salt.
  • Add well beaten curd and mix well. Simmer for 5-7 minutes.
  • Add paneer cubes and mix gently. Simmer for 3 more minutes. Garnish with cilantro leaves and serve paneer korma hot.
