Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1/4 cup butter (salted)
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

Instruction

  • Place butter in a medium saucepan and melt over medium heat
  • Whisk in flour until bubbly, about 2 minutes
  • Slowly whisk in chicken broth, salt, and pepper
  • Cook, stirring often, until it comes to a boil, about 2-5 minutes
  • If it's too thick, add broth 1/4 cup at a time
