- 1 pound asparagus spears
- 1 orange (zested and supremed -- see note below)
- 1/4 cup pecans (chopped)
- 1 shallot (peeled and thinly sliced)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup feta cheese (or goat cheese, crumbled)
- 1 teaspoon orange zest
- 1 teaspoon dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon white or red wine vinegar
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons honey (preferably orange blossom)
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
