Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup crumbs (bread, cracker, etc)
  • 1/3 cup dried potato flakes
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instruction

  • Place chicken breasts into a glass bowl or dish and cover with buttermilk. Place in the refrigerator and allow it to soak for 2 hours.
  • Combine remaining ingredients, except for the olive oil. Place mixture into a shallow dish.
  • Preheat oven to 350 F. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Remove a chicken breast from the buttermilk and allow excess to drip off. Place chicken breast in the crumb mixture. Turn and press to coat. Repeat for each chicken breast.
  • Brown crumb coated chicken breasts in the skillet, about 3-5 minutes per side. Place browned chicken breasts in a 13x9 baking dish and bake uncovered in preheated oven for 30 minutes.
