Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 6 medium russet potatoes
  • 1/2 cup canola oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt

Instruction

  • Peel the potatoes; then rinse them off under cold water and pat dry.
  • Cut the potato into 1/2-inch thick slices, cut the potatoes again into 1/2-inch strips; then chop into cubes. Pat the potatoes dry with paper towel to absorb as much moisture as you can; then heat the oil in a large skillet over medium high heat.
  • Next, add the potatoes to the pan and cook until golden brown, turning frequently for approximately 15-20 minutes.
  • Remove the potatoes from the oil, place bowl lined with paper towels to absorb excess grease. Finally add the oregano and salt and toss to coat the potatoes.
