  • 100 g granulated sugar (3.5 oz/ ½ cup)

  • 2 oranges (zest of both, and juice of one (55 ml/ 1.8 fl.oz/ ¼ cup), Note 2)
  • 250 g all-purpose flour (9 oz/ 2 cups)
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • a pinch of salt
  • 6 tablespoons orange jam ( Note 3)
