The following ingredients have 4 Servings

  • 1 tsp orange zest
  • 3 tbsp orange juice
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 lb chicken thighs (boneless, skinless, cut into bite-sized pieces)
  • 1 cup water (ice cold)
  • 2½ cups flour (divided)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ cup cornstarch
  • Vegetable oil (for frying and then for stir-frying. )
  • 1 tbsp ginger (fresh, minced)
  • 2 large cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tbsp scallions (chopped, for garnish (optional))
