Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 3 Tbsps butter
  • 3.25 cups onions (thinly sliced)
  • 3 Tbsps honey
  • 0.5 tsp thyme (chopped)
  • 6 Tbsps balsamic vinegar

Instruction

  • Melt the butter in a pot and fry the onions. Add the honey, allow to melt, then stir in the herbs. Season lightly with salt and ground black pepper and deglaze with the vinegar.
  • Simmer on a low heat for around 5 min. Transfer to sterilised jars, leave to cool and then serve.
