Ingredients

The following ingredients have 8 Servings
  • 1 1/2 cups plain flour
  • 1 cup caster sugar
  • 3 tbs cocoa
  • 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp white vinegar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instruction

  • Preheat oven to 180°C (160°C fan-forced). Find a 20cm x 20cm square non-stick baking pan.
  • Place the flour, sugar, cocoa, bicarbonate soda and salt straight into the cake pan. Whisk together to combine.
  • Add the remaining ingredients to the pan and whisk well.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick placed into the centre comes out clean.
