Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 2 cups Flour
  • 2 teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 3/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 Tablespoons Sugar
  • 1 3/4 cup Buttermilk
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 large Egg White
  • 6 Tablespoons Butter ((barely melted))
  • 2 Tablespoons Oil ((canola or vegetable))
  • 1-2 teaspoons Vanilla

Instruction

  • In a large bowl, add flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar. 
  • Stir in buttermilk, eggs, egg white, melted butter, oil, and vanilla. Fold together until mixed well. 
  • Heat waffle iron until ready.  Spray with non-stick cooking spray or coat with butter. Pour waffle batter into waffle iron and bake until golden. 
  • Remove from waffle maker and place on cooling rack to allow the steam to escape, if not eating right away. 
  • Top with butter, maple syrup, homemade whipped cream, and fresh fruit.
