Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 2 cups Flour
- 2 teaspoons Baking Powder
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 3/4 teaspoon Salt
- 2 Tablespoons Sugar
- 1 3/4 cup Buttermilk
- 2 large Eggs
- 1 large Egg White
- 6 Tablespoons Butter ((barely melted))
- 2 Tablespoons Oil ((canola or vegetable))
- 1-2 teaspoons Vanilla
Instruction
- In a large bowl, add flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar.
- Stir in buttermilk, eggs, egg white, melted butter, oil, and vanilla. Fold together until mixed well.
- Heat waffle iron until ready. Spray with non-stick cooking spray or coat with butter. Pour waffle batter into waffle iron and bake until golden.
- Remove from waffle maker and place on cooling rack to allow the steam to escape, if not eating right away.
- Top with butter, maple syrup, homemade whipped cream, and fresh fruit.
