Ingredients
The following ingredients have 6 Servings
- 2 tablespoons Bacon fat (Or olive oil to make Vegan)
- 1 pound Okra (Sliced)
- 1 cup Chopped tomatoes
- 1/3 cup Green onion (Sliced)
- 1/4 cup Green pepper (Chopped)
- 1/2 teaspoon Parsley flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Granulated sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instruction
- Saute okra in bacon fat for 5 minutes or until the inside is tender and the exterior is crisp. Stir in the remaining ingredients.
- Cover and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Taste then season if necessary and serve.
