Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 1/4 c . unsalted butter ((2 1/2 sticks))
  • 3/4 c . firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 c . granulated sugar
  • 1 egg - room temp
  • 1 tsp . vanilla
  • 1 1/2 c . flour
  • 1 tsp . baking soda
  • 1 tsp . salt
  • 1 tsp . cinnamon
  • 3 c . oats (, uncooked)

Instruction

  • Heat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Beat together butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
  • Beat in egg and vanilla.
  • Combine flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon and add to butter mixture, mixing well.
  • Stir in the oats.
  • Press dough into the bottom of a 9x13 ungreased baking pan, making sure to press firmly.
  • Bake for 20 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
  • Cool completely in pan on a wire wrack.
  • Cut into squares.
