Ingredients

The following ingredients have 6 Servings
  • 500g loaf sliced brioche
  • 200g Nutella
  • 4 eggs
  • 300ml cream
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 2 tbsp caster sugar

Instruction

  • Preheat oven to 180C. Grease a medium-size oven-proof baking dish.
  • Cut brioche slices in half diagonally and stack vertically in baking dish. Drizzle most of the Nutella onto the brioche, making sure it gets down in between the slices.
  • In a bowl, whisk together eggs, cream, milk, vanilla and sugar. Pour over brioche, ensuring it is completely soaked in the egg mixture.
  • Bake for 35 minutes. While it is still warm, drizzle over remaining Nutella. Slice into squares and serve with cream or vanilla ice-cream.
