Ingredients
The following ingredients have 25 Servings
- 1 cup raw cashews
- 1 cup purified water
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- maple syrup or coconut sugar to taste
- 34 grams (1.5 oz) freeze dried strawberries. (see notes for alternative)
- 3/4 cup to 1 cup gluten free or grain free granola (see notes for brands)
- 3/4 cup coconut flour (make sure it’s fine or not clumpy)
- 1 tbsp maple syrup or honey (use maple if vegan)
- Optional strawberry or butter extract (we found these at local grocer or whole foods market)
- 1 tbsp strawberry jam filling (natural) – Optional but TASTY
- Powder sugar to sprinkle
Instruction
- First make your cashew cream. Soak the cashew in purified water for 2-4 hours or longer if you would like; up to 24 hrs.
- Next add water, vanilla, and a small amount of sweetener (maple syrup or coconut sugar) to food processor or blender. Blend until creamy. It might take a while to get the perfect creamy texture.
- Taste and see if it’s sweet enough to your liking. Add more sweetener and blend again if desired. Once you’ve made the cream, set it aside.
