Ingredients
The following ingredients have 12 Servings
- 1 1/2 cup gluten free Rice Krispie cereal
- 2 cup Rice Chex
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup corn syrup
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 Tbsp vanilla
- 1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 2 tsp shortening
Instruction
- Spray a 9 x 9 inch dish with non-stick cooking spray.
- Place the Rice Krispies and Chex in a bowl and combine.
- In a sauce pan, combine the peanut butter, corn syrup, brown sugar, sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla.
- Cook over low heat until all is well combined and sugars have dissolved. This will take a minute or two.
- Pour mixture of cereals and combine until cereal is well coated.
- Pour mixture into the prepared 9 x 9 pan and press into the pan. Let cool for 5 minutes.
- Place the chocolate chips and shortening in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave for 15 – 30 seconds until melted and smooth. Drizzle or pipe the chocolate over the cooled bars. Serves 12.
