Ingredients

The following ingredients have 24 Servings
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups quick cooking oats
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Instruction

  • Combine sugars, cocoa, butter, milk, and salt in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil over high heat. Stir constantly.
  • Once rapid bubbles have formed, start your timer and keep at a boil for 90 seconds - 2 minutes, stirring regularly.
  • Remove from heat and add quick cooking oats, peanut butter, and vanilla.
  • Mix well.
  • Working quickly, use a cookie scoop to scoop cookies onto waxed paper.
  • Let cool completely.
