Ingredients

The following ingredients have 8 Servings
  • 1 cup Almond Butter
  • 1/2 cup honey (sub maple syrup for vegan)
  • 1/3 cup refined coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 oz 70% dark chocolate
  • 2 cups large flake oats* (see note)
  • 1 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
  • pinch of salt

Instruction

  • Mix the almond butter, honey, coconut oil, cocoa powder and vanilla extract in a small pot on medium-low heat.
  • Add the dark chocolate and continue to mix until the chocolate is melted.
  • Mix the oats, shredded coconut and salt together in a large mixing bowl.
  • Pour the wet ingredients into the bowl of dry ingredients and mix together until combined.
  • Line an 8×8 inch pan with parchment paper and spread the batter into the pan, gently pressing down evenly.
  • Place in the fridge to set for at least 3 hours then cut into bars.
  • Store in the fridge.
