Ingredients
The following ingredients have 8 Servings
- 1 cup Almond Butter
- 1/2 cup honey (sub maple syrup for vegan)
- 1/3 cup refined coconut oil
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 4 oz 70% dark chocolate
- 2 cups large flake oats* (see note)
- 1 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
- pinch of salt
Instruction
- Mix the almond butter, honey, coconut oil, cocoa powder and vanilla extract in a small pot on medium-low heat.
- Add the dark chocolate and continue to mix until the chocolate is melted.
- Mix the oats, shredded coconut and salt together in a large mixing bowl.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the bowl of dry ingredients and mix together until combined.
- Line an 8×8 inch pan with parchment paper and spread the batter into the pan, gently pressing down evenly.
- Place in the fridge to set for at least 3 hours then cut into bars.
- Store in the fridge.
