Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 3/4 cup Nutella
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp coconut extract
- 3 cups quick cooking oats
- 1/2-1 cup shredded sweetened coconut
- Whole almonds
Instruction
- In a large saucepan or high sided sauté pan add the butter, sugar, milk and cocoa powder.
- Melt together and bring to a boil and boil for 1 minute then remove from heat.
- Add in the Nutella, vanilla and coconut extract and whisk until smooth and creamy.
- Mix in the oats and coconut and stir until fully covered and coated.
- Place a piece of parchment paper on a flat surface and, using a cookie scoop or ice cream scoop, scoop about 2 heaping tablespoons into mounds on your parchment paper, press one whole almond on each cookie and let it set for about 30-40 minutes.
