Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1/2 cup salted butter (softened)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped chives
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
  • 1 1/2 pounds boneless strip steaks
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons sea salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil (or other high heat oil)

Instruction

  • Place the softened butter in a bowl and add the chives, garlic, lemon juice, crushed red pepper flakes and black pepper.
  • Stir until throughly combined. Form into a log and wrap with parchment paper.
  • Place in the refrigerator.
  • Season the steaks with salt and pepper and allow to sit at room temperature for 1 hour.
  • Brush with oil.
