Ingredients

The following ingredients have 3 Servings
  • 2 bananas (peeled and sliced in half then lengthwise)
  • 1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup Rum (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon plus more for garnish
  • Vanilla (or go festive and try King Cake flavor ice cream, I used 4 scoops)

Instruction

  • In a large skillet, add butter and brown sugar.
  • Stir until melted and bubbly.
  • Add rum then using a long lighter carefully light of fire to flambe and cook the rum.
  • When the flame cooks down add the sliced bananas and cinnamon. Cook for 2-3 minutes until softened.
  • Serve warm in bowls on top of ice cream.
