Ingredients
The following ingredients have 12 Servings
- 2 sheets puff pastry
- 1/2 cup (140g) wholegrain mustard
- 1 cup (120g) finely grated cheddar
- 6 (390g) american-style hot dogs, halved crossways
- 1 egg, beaten lightly
- 2 tablespoon poppy seeds
Instruction
- Preheat oven to 220°C. Line a large oven tray with baking paper.
- Cut each pastry sheet into 3 x 8cm lengths; halve each length crossways into rectangles.
- Spread 2 tsp mustard over each rectangle, sprinkle with 1 tbsp cheese; leave a 1cm border down one short side. Place one hot dog half over mustard and cheese; roll up tightly.
- Place mustard dogs, seam-side down, on oven tray and brush with egg. Sprinkle with poppy seeds.
- Bake 15 minutes or until pastry is puffed and golden. Serve immediately.
