Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 onion finely chopped small
- 50 g butter
- 275 g mushrooms fresh thinly sliced
- 50 g plain flour
- 500 ml Massel Chicken Style Liquid Stock
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 250 ml milk
- 1 pinch salt and pepper *to taste
Instruction
- Melt butter in a pan and fry onions gently for 5 minutes until soft but not coloured.
- Add mushrooms and cook gently, stirring for 5 minutes.
- Stir in the flour and cook the mix for 1 minute, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat and gradually stir in the chicken stock.
- Bring to boil, stirring, until the soup is thick.
- Stir in the lemon juice and milk.
- Season with salt and pepper. Cover and simmer for 25 minutes.
- Garnish with parsley if desired.
