Ingredients

The following ingredients have 8 Servings
  • 8 whole jalapeños
  • 4 oz. pepper jack cheese (cut into 8 rectangles)
  • 4 slices bacon (cut in half)
  • 1 pkg refrigerator dough crescent rolls
  • 16 whole pepper corns ((the eyes))

Instruction

  • Cut a slit in each pepper. Carefully clean out the seeds and membranes. Rinse and set aside to dry.
  • Fill the inside of each chili with a piece of cheese, wrap with 1/2 slice of bacon.
  • Separate the crescent rolls. Cut each one into 3 strips. Wrap the dough around the bacon wrapped pepper to look like mummy wrappings. Place two pepper corns on the top to look like eyes.
  • Bake at 375 degrees for 10 – 12 minutes, or until the dough is golden.
