The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 2 large ripe tomatoes (beefsteak variety, if available)
- 1 large ball fresh mozzarella
- 2 tablespoons basil pesto
- 1 teaspoon extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
- 2 tablespoons torn fresh basil leaves
Instruction
- Stack slices of fresh tomatoes and fresh mozzarella, using a small amount of basil pesto between the layers to help hold it together.
- Drizzle with balsamic vinegar and olive oil.
- Top each stack with a sprinkle of basil leaves.
