Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 2 large ripe tomatoes (beefsteak variety, if available)
  • 1 large ball fresh mozzarella
  • 2 tablespoons basil pesto
  • 1 teaspoon extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons torn fresh basil leaves

Instruction

  • Stack slices of fresh tomatoes and fresh mozzarella, using a small amount of basil pesto between the layers to help hold it together.
  • Drizzle with balsamic vinegar and olive oil. 
  • Top each stack with a sprinkle of basil leaves.
