Ingredients

The following ingredients have 8 Servings
  • 8 thick slices of ham
  • 16 slices of bread
  • 1 stick of butter (slightly melted)
  • 10 slices of American or Swiss Cheese
  • 6 eggs
  • 3 cups of milk
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup crushed corn flakes

Instruction

  • Spray 13 x 9 baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Trim crust off the bread and butter each side.
  • Place 8 slices of bread on the bottom of the baking dish. Then, add a layer of ham and cheese. Top with remaining buttered bread slices.
  • Mix eggs, milk, dry mustard, salt and pepper together.
  • Pour over Monte Cristo Breakfast Bake and refrigerate overnight.
  • In the morning, preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Top Monte Cristo Breakfast Bake with crushed corn flakes.
  • Bake for one hour.
