Ingredients

The following ingredients have 12 Servings
  • 1/2 cup vegan butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 1 egg replacer (1 teaspoon baking powder, 1 Tablespoon water, 1 Tablespoon vinegar mixed together or 1 egg)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups unbleached all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup Mini Chocolate Chips

Instruction

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Cream the butter and sugars in a large bowl.
  • Add egg and vanilla to bowl and combine.
  • Add flour, baking soda, salt and cocoa and combine.
  • Fold in chocolate chips.
  • Roll dough into Tablespoon sized balls and place on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake cookies for about 9-10 minutes. Cookies will not be firm when you remove them from the oven.
  • Allow cookies to cool for a few minutes on the cookie sheet and then move to a baking rack to finish cooling.
