Ingredients

The following ingredients have 5 Servings
  • 1 1/3 cups hot coffee
  • 1 cup hot espresso
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 2/3 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Kahlua (optional)
  • pinch of salt
  • fresh whipped cream

Instruction

  • Mix together the coffee and espresso, then mix in the cocoa powder, sugar, and Kahlua. Mix well until the sugar and cocoa powder is completely dissolved.
  • Pour into a 9 x 13 baking pan and allow to cool to room temperature.
  • Freeze for about 30 minutes, then break apart with a fork. Repeat about five more times until the mixture is light and like shaved ice.
  • Serve in cups or bowls, and top with fresh whipped cream.
