The following ingredients have 48 Servings
- 8 ounces Cream Cheese, Softened
- 1 teaspoon Peppermint Extract Or To Taste (Optional)
- 36 whole Oreo Cookies, Crushed
- 1/2 cup Heavy Cream
- 16 Ounces Semi Sweet Baking Chocolate Chopped Or Chocolate Chips
- 1 teaspoon Peppermint Extract Or To Taste (Optional)
- Sprinkles Or Crushed Oreos For Garnish
Instruction
- Mix cream cheese and peppermint extract (if using) on medium speed until smooth.
- Scrape side of bowl and add crushed Oreos. Mix until throughly combined.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment or wax paper.
- Roll Oreo Cream Cheese mixture into 48 (1" balls).
- Place on a lined baking sheet and freeze for 10 minutes or until firm.
- Heat heavy cream in a small sauce pan over medium heat until scalding hot but not boiling. Add chocolate to the cream and allow to sit for 4 minutes. Stir chocolate until smooth. Add peppermint extract (if using) and stir until well combined. (If chocolate sets to fast it can be reheated over medium-low heat while stirring until smooth.)
- Dip cold Oreo Cookie Balls into melted chocolate and place on a lined baking pan.
- Sprinkle mint chocolate dipped Oreo cookie balls with sprinkles or crushed Oreos and refrigerate for 1 hour or until firm.
- Store Mint Oreo Cookie Balls in the refrigerator until ready to use.
