Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 2 tablespoon brown sugar blend
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 tablespoon margarine
- 1/2 cup buttermillk
- 1 cup frozen sugar free whipped topping, thawed
- 1/2 cup low fat, vanilla Greek yogurt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 fresh pear, cut into thin slices
Instruction
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Coat 2 baking sheets with cooking spray.
- In a medium bowl, combine flour, brown sugar blend, baking powder, ginger, and baking soda; mix well. Using a pastry blender, or fork, cut in margarine until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add buttermilk, stirring just until moist.
- Drop dough by tablespoonfuls into 12 mounds on baking sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes, or until golden. Let cool on wire rack.
- Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, mix whipped topping, yogurt, and nutemg until combined.
- Split biscuits in half. Spoon mixture evenly onto bottom half, and replace biscuit top. Garnish with pear slices and serve.
