Ingredients

The following ingredients have 16 Servings
  • 2/3 c. butter
  • 2 c. quick oats
  • 1 c. granulated sugar
  • 2/3 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 c. brown rice syrup (or corn syrup)
  • 1/4 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 3/4 c. milk chocolate chips

Instruction

  • Preheat oven to 375. Line baking sheet with parchment paper, Silpat liner, or foil.
  • Melt butter in medium saucepan; remove from heat. Stir in oats, sugar, flour, brown rice syrup, milk, vanilla, and salt; mix well.
  • Drop by level tsp, about 3 inches apart, onto prepared baking sheets. spread thinly with rubber spatula.
  • Bake for 6-8 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely on baking sheets on wire racks. Peel cookies from liner.
  • Heat chocolate chips in microwave or double broiler until melted. Spread thin layer of melted chocolate onto flat side of half the cookie. Top with remaining cookies.
