Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1½ pounds ground beef
- 1 cup onions, (diced)
- 1 package taco seasoning
- ¾ cup water
- 1 bag tortilla chips
- 15 ounce refried beans
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese, (shredded)
- 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, (shredded)
- 15 oz can nacho cheese sauce
- 3 tablespoon pickled jalapenos
- optional: guacamole, sour cream, jalapenos, green onions, and cilantro
Instruction
- Preheat oven to 400°
- Cook ground beef and onions until meat is no longer pink. Drain, return to pan and add taco seasoning and water. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Heat beans in a small saucepan until hot.
- Spray a large stainless steel bowl generously with non-stick spray.
- Add 1/4 of the tortilla chips, followed by 1/4 ground beef, beans, and cheese. Repeat 3 more times ending with cheese.
- Place bowl in preheated oven and bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until cheese is hot and bubbly.
- Carefully remove bowl from oven and scrape the cheese from the sides of the bowl.
- Place a large platter or sheet pan over bowl and carefully invert. Remove bowl.
- Heat nacho sauce until hot and pour over the top of the nachos.
- Top with guacamole, sour cream, jalapeños, green onions, and cilantro.
