Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 pound(s) ground beef
- 1 package(s) taco seasoning mix
- 3/4 cup(s) salsa, chunky
- 6 - flour tortillas (6 inch)
- 1 can(s) refried beans
- 2 cup(s) mexican blend shredded cheese, i used cheddar and jack
- - a few shakes of taco sauce
Instruction
- Preheat oven to 350f. Brown ground beef in medium sauce pan. Drain grease. Mix in taco seasoning. Then stir in 1/4 cup of salsa.
- Spread refried beans on one side of each tortilla. Go as heavy or as light as you want, depending on your family's taste.
- In a 2 qt rectangular or square baking dish, add a small amount of meat mixture on the bottom and spread around. Then start layering starting with 3 bean covered tortillas on top, bean side down (they will overlap to fit). Then half of the meat mixture, half of the cheese, 3 bean tortillas, 1/2 cup salsa, rest of meat mixture, some taco sauce, and the rest of the cheese.
- Bake uncovered for 20 minutes or until melted and bubbly. Serve with toppings such as sour cream, jalapeño, guacamole, etc. Enjoy!!
