Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 Pie Shell (unbaked)
  • 1 1/2 lbs Lean Ground Beef
  • 1/2 Cup Yellow Onion (diced)
  • 4 oz Green Chilies (diced)
  • 1 1/2 Cups Monterey Jack Cheese (shredded)
  • 1 Cup Half and Half
  • 2 Tbsp All Purpose Flour
  • 2 Eggs

Instruction

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  • In a skillet, cook the ground beef and yellow onion until no longer brown. Drain the fat. Add the green chilies to the beef mixture.
  • Sprinkle a layer of cheese on the bottom of the pie shell. Top with a layer of the meat mixture. Repeat until layers until there is no more of the meat mixture.
  • In a mixing bowl, beat together the half and half, eggs and all purpose flour. Pour over the top of the layers.
  • Bake for 40 to 45 minutes. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
