Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 Pie Shell (unbaked)
- 1 1/2 lbs Lean Ground Beef
- 1/2 Cup Yellow Onion (diced)
- 4 oz Green Chilies (diced)
- 1 1/2 Cups Monterey Jack Cheese (shredded)
- 1 Cup Half and Half
- 2 Tbsp All Purpose Flour
- 2 Eggs
Instruction
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef and yellow onion until no longer brown. Drain the fat. Add the green chilies to the beef mixture.
- Sprinkle a layer of cheese on the bottom of the pie shell. Top with a layer of the meat mixture. Repeat until layers until there is no more of the meat mixture.
- In a mixing bowl, beat together the half and half, eggs and all purpose flour. Pour over the top of the layers.
- Bake for 40 to 45 minutes. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
