- 1/4 cup butter (room temperature)
- 1 cup sugar
- 3.2 ounces Mexican Chocolate ( I used 1 disc of Ibarra)
- 2 eggs (room temperature)
- 3 egg yolks (room temperature)
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup dark cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup espresso (cooled to room temperature)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 4 cups Confectioner's sugar
- 1/3 cup heavy cream
- 3.2 ounces Mexican chocolate
- 1 ounce instant hot chocolate mix (1 packet)
- 1 tablespoon chocolate instant pudding mix
