Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 lb ground pork
- 1/2 lb ground beef
- 1 package (12 ozs) of bacon
- 2 cups tender corn
- 1 whole white onion, diced
- 4 garlic cloves, diced
- 2 tablespoons raisins
- 1/4 cup red bell pepper
- 1/4 cup green bell pepper
- 1/4 cup orange bell pepper
- salt and pepper, to taste
Instruction
- In a skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until golden brown. Stir occasionally to keep the bacon from sticking to the bottom of the pan.
- In a separate frying pan, sauté the onion and garlic until they begin to caramelize. Add the ground pork and beef- mix well and make sure the meat cooks evenly.
- Season with salt and pepper, then stir-in the corn, raisins and bell peppers. Cover the frying pan with a lid and continue cooking for 10 minutes.
- Once ready, stuff the turkey before putting it in the oven.
