Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 6 quart(s) popped, salted corn
  • 2 stick(s) oleo
  • 1/2 cup(s) white syrup
  • 2 cup(s) brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) cream of tartar
  • 1 teaspoon(s) salt
  • 1 teaspoon(s) baking soda

Instruction

  • Take oleo, white syrup and brown sugar.
  • Mix and bring to boil stirring. Cook 6 min. on low heat stirring.
  • Take off stove and add cream of tartar, salt and soda. Stir until foamy.
  • Pour on popped corn. Mix. Spread out on greased cookie sheet.
  • Put in oven at 200F for 1 hour, stir occasionally.
  • Press into balls if you desire.
