Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- Popping corn kernels - 1/2 cup
- Butter - 1-2 tbsp
- Flavoring
- Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
- Red Chilly Powder - 1/2 tsp
- Cumin Powder - 1/2 tsp
- Garam Masala - 1/4 tsp
- Amchoor (Dry Mango) Powder - 1/4 tsp
- Salt - to taste
Instruction
- Stove Top Method
- Take a large heavy bottomed vessel and melt the butter.
- Add the popping corn seeds and all the ingredients under 'flavoring'.
- Mix with a spoon so that all the corn seeds gets coated with the butter and the spices.
- Cover with a lid and let it pop on a medium low heat.
- When the poping sound reduces, remove the vessel from the stove immediately to prevent the popcorn from getting burnt.
- Microwave Method
- Mix all the above ingredients in a deep microwave safe dish.
- Cover with a lid and microwave on high for 2 minutes. (or till the poping sound reduces.)
- arefully remove the contents wearing a gloves. The contents will be super hot.
