Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • Popping corn kernels - 1/2 cup
  • Butter - 1-2 tbsp
  • Flavoring
  • Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Red Chilly Powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin Powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Garam Masala - 1/4 tsp
  • Amchoor (Dry Mango) Powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Salt - to taste

Instruction

  • Stove Top Method
  • Take a large heavy bottomed vessel and melt the butter.
  • Add the popping corn seeds and all the ingredients under 'flavoring'.
  • Mix with a spoon so that all the corn seeds gets coated with the butter and the spices.
  • Cover with a lid and let it pop on a medium low heat.
  • When the poping sound reduces, remove the vessel from the stove immediately to prevent the popcorn from getting burnt.
  • Microwave Method
  • Mix all the above ingredients in a deep microwave safe dish.
  • Cover with a lid and microwave on high for 2 minutes. (or till the poping sound reduces.)
  • arefully remove the contents wearing a gloves. The contents will be super hot.
