Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 2 cucumbers (peeled and thinly sliced)
  • 1 small onion (shaved)
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon salad oil or vegetable oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic paste
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery seed
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instruction

  • Peel cucumber and thinly slice (I use a mandoline).
  • Layer cucumbers with the onions in a resealable bowl suitable for the fridge.
  • Whisk together the remaining ingredients and pour over the salad.
  • Refrigerate several hours or overnight for best flavor.
