Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 4 Shallots (diced)
  • 3 Garlic clove (crushed)
  • 800 g Chopped tomatoes (canned)
  • 2 tbsp Dried oregano
  • 3 tbsp Balsamic vinegar
  • 1 pinch Sea salt and black pepper
  • 5 g Fresh basil (chopped)

Instruction

  • Add a glug of olive oil to a large pan and add the shallots and garlic and cook on low for 4 minutes, until the shallots have softened.
  • Add the tomatoes, balsamic vinegar, oregano and salt and pepper and mix well.
  • Simmer for 10 minutes and then stir in the chopped basil before serving.
