Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- 4 Shallots (diced)
- 3 Garlic clove (crushed)
- 800 g Chopped tomatoes (canned)
- 2 tbsp Dried oregano
- 3 tbsp Balsamic vinegar
- 1 pinch Sea salt and black pepper
- 5 g Fresh basil (chopped)
Instruction
- Add a glug of olive oil to a large pan and add the shallots and garlic and cook on low for 4 minutes, until the shallots have softened.
- Add the tomatoes, balsamic vinegar, oregano and salt and pepper and mix well.
- Simmer for 10 minutes and then stir in the chopped basil before serving.
