Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 2 cups oats (old fashioned or quick cooking)
- 4 cups water
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup pure pumpkin
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
- 2 tablespoons chia seeds
Instruction
- Bring water and spices (cinnamon through salt) to a boil whisking occasionally.
- Stir in oats then return to a boil. Reduce heat to low and cook until liquid is absorbed, about 6-8 minutes.
- Stir in pumpkin, syrup, walnuts and chia seeds. Cook additional 2-3 minutes or until pumpkin is warmed through.
- Serve in 4 bowls.
