Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 ¼ C all-purpose flour
- 1 Tbsp baking powder
- 1 Tbsp granulated sugar
- ½ tsp salt
- 3 lrg eggs (well beaten)
- 6 Tbsp butter (melted - I use 8 Tbsp, but use more or less for a crisper or softer waffle)
- 1 ½ C whole milk
- 2 tsp maple extract
- 5 slices candied bacon (chopped)
- maple whipped cream
Instruction
- Wisk together the flour, baking powder, sugar and salt
- in another bowl whisk together the eggs, butter, milk and extract
- Pour the wet mixture over dry mixture and blend until pebbled.
- You can add the bacon to the mix or sprinkle it on top of the batter once it's in the machine.
- Cook in preheated waffle iron 3-4 mins. Until the smoking stops.
- serve with more bacon and maple whipped cream
